Connected Mothers Stronger Futures
A programme supporting mums across Rodney to connect, strengthen wellbeing and find support.

Have you lost a little of your colour?
There’s a reason we chose the flamingo as a symbol for Connected Mothers, Stronger Futures.
Flamingos get their beautiful pink colour from what they eat. When they become parents, they can lose their pink as they put so much of their energy into raising their young.
Motherhood can feel a bit like that.
We pour our time, energy, love and attention into our children. Somewhere along the way, we can feel a little less like ourselves.
Connected Mothers, Stronger Futures is about creating space for mums to be nourished too.
Let's get your pink back!
What is Connected Mothers, Stronger Futures?
Supporting mothers to connect, feel supported and find their way back to themselves.
Motherhood can be wonderful, challenging, rewarding and exhausting — sometimes all in the same day.
Connected Mothers, Stronger Futures is a Women’s Centre Rodney programme supporting mothers across Rodney, from Wellsford to Puhoi. We want to create opportunities for mothers to come together, learn, share experiences and access resources in a welcoming and supportive environment.
We know that having meaningful connections and a sense of belonging can make a real difference to our wellbeing.
Through Connected Mothers, Stronger Futures, the Women’s Centre Rodney will offer a range of FREE workshops, groups, activities and resources designed with mothers in mind.
They cover topics that are relevant to life as a mum. From understanding the changes that come with motherhood, to relationships, parenting, wellbeing and building your support network.
Whether you're looking to meet other mums, learn something new, find practical support, have a chat over a coffee or simply get out of the house and connect with your community, there will be something for you at the Women's Centre Rodney.
Your village shouldn’t cost a thing. All Connected Mothers workshops and groups are free.
What's on?
Through the Connnected Mothers, Stronger Futures programme is the opportunity to connect with other mums in the area through a series of workshops and groups.
They all have a different focus so have a look and see what you'd like some support or connection through.
All workshops are free to attend. Because every mum deserves a space to connect, learn and feel supported.
Come as you are. Find your village. Get your pink back.
