Legal Clinic Information
The Clinic runs every third Friday at the Women's Centre office or Homebuilders Family Services between 9.30 - 10.30am.

WHO WE ARE:
We are a group of local lawyers who saw the need for free legal advice within the community and have volunteered our time to make this happen.

WHAT WE DO:
-
We act as a first port of call if you have a legal issue and are not sure where to get help.
-
We listen to any legal issues you may have and explain where you can find further information or help. This may include directing you to online resources (such as forms or guides) to government departments or other organisations.
-
We may also refer you to a lawyer or (law firm) who specializes in the area of law in which you have an issue.

WHAT WE DON'T DO:
We do not carry out any legal work for you. This means we do not:
-
provide you with any legal advice or services
-
draft or fill any any documents for you
-
act or represent for you

We do not accept or receive any payment - including legal aid.
Contact the Women's Centre on 09 425 7261 to book an appointment.
