SERVICES
Counselling
We offer safe, supportive, low-cost individual sessions with a trained therapist. Our resident counsellor, Bridget Farmiloe is available to see clients at the Centre. Six free sessions are offered to women with dependent children. Subsidised counselling also available for women who don't meet this criteria. Appointments are necessary.
Drop-In Services
We offer information, education and support in a safe environment which is comfortable, warm and welcoming.

Information & Referrals
We offer a variety of resources, including pamphlets, booklets & flyers which give up-to-date information on community groups & services, health issues, legal issues such as protection orders or custody, budgeting, employment, WINZ & IRD. We can also refer you to a community law office or counsellor.
Legal Clinic
We run a free legal clinic every third Friday between 9.30am and 10.30am. The clinic is held either at the centre or at Homebuilders and is staffed by local lawyers. To book or for further details please contact the centre.
Library
We have an extensive library on a variety of topics of interest to women. Membership is free.
Massage & Reiki
Take time out to relax and allow yourself some nurturing. Lianne is a Senior Healings Arts practitioner with more than 35 years experience in the wellness community. She holds a diploma in Ayurvedic Medicine and Yoga. Her massages incorporate aspects of Ayurveda, Kahuna, Swedish, Holistic Pulsing, Reiki and more. $55 for an hour $80 for one and a half hours. Available on Tuesday afternoons by appointment.
Noticeboards
Our noticeboards are the place to find information about what is happening in our community; events coming up; educational opportunities; current health information and items of general interest
Pregnancy Tests & Condoms
Free pregnancy test kits and condoms are available on request.
Support & Advocacy
We advocate on behalf of women with government and non-government agencies. We affirm women and support them in making choices in their lives.

Young Mum's Educational Programme
Free course for mothers up to 24 years. Explore strategies for raising healthy, happy children. Childcare and morning tea provided.
