Young Mothers Educational Programme

We have designed a parenting course, specifically for young mothers under the age of 22 years. The course aims to offer educational opportunities, create support networks, decrease isolation, provide practical knowledge and information on services and resources in our community and empower mothers to make healthy, constructive choices.

This is an ongoing programme that runs from 10am -12:30pm on Monday mornings, with child minding and morning tea provided. This course is free and is facilitated by Sarah Calder.

Next programme starts: October Monday 11th 2010 for 10weeks.   Please register your interest with the Centre if you wish to be enrolled on this programme.
 

  Walking

The group meets on Wednesday mornings 13th October at 10am, meet at the Women’s Centre. The group will walk for 30-40 mins, then  all are invited to have a cup of tea & a chat at the Women’s Centre. Open to all women, not only those with children.
